Travel Health Insurance
Most health insurance plans only cover you for 30 days (or less) outside the U.S.; some could have even larger restrictions (in fact, Medicare won’t cover you at all). Travel Health Insurance is the perfect solution to fill the gap. You do not want to cancel your traditional health insurance plan, of course, travel health insurance exists to simply supplement your current insurance. The Affordable Care Act does not consider travel insurance to be minimum essential coverage (these plans do not have to cover pre-existing conditions and there is no guaranteed coverage, either).
